Check out Economagic.
If you are looking for a comprehensive site of free, easily available economic time series data useful for economic research, in particular economic forecasting, you’ve found it.
There are more than 200,000 time series and even better, all these series can be downloaded into Excel. The majority of the series cover U.S. data and employment data can be drilled down by state, county… Some of the charting functions are really useful
Basic information is free and there are two levels of subscription
Level 1: gives access to excel and copy and past formatted data (about $50/yr)
Level 2: gives access to forecasts (about $200)
Looks like a pretty useful site for crunching macro-type stuff.
